The 2nd Battle of Post 85

Warlord Zardneg chose to follow the Eldar and try to wipe them out before they could regroup. Warlord Zardneg had left his artillery behind and brought in Lard's Lunies ( War Bikes), 2 Killer Kans and called for his Nob Bodyguards and their truck. The Bodyguards were still trying to get over their stupor last night). But the Eldar were ready for Zardneg's Boyz.

Zardneg's shoota boyz took a pounding early on in the fight , it seemed like everybody was shooting at them. They suffered severe loses, but held in there and managed to get into an assault with an eldar squad, tying them up until reinforcements could help them out. The reinforcements arrived and sent the Eldar scampering away.

Meanwhile on the right flank the war bikes and the war buggy's were trying to get around the Eldar flank.

The bikes charged head first into another Eldar Squad and after a long fought battle the Eldar had 2 men standing and Lard’s Lunies were no more.

The Eldar Swooping hawk swooped in behind Zardneg’s line but were quickly disposed of by Zardneg’s ‘Ard Boyz and Zardneg’s Bodyguard who finally woke up and found their way to the battle.

On the left flank it was the Killer Kans, Zardneg’s SkarzBoys vs. the Eldar Wraithlord and War Walker. The Wraithlord basically ignored the Killer Kans and concentrated on the Skarzboyz. After a long exchange of shots the Walker finished off both Kans. The Skarzboyz were no match for the Wraithlord, and Warlord Zardneg realized this and charged head-on into the Wraithlord. The Wraithlord smashed Zardneg like a bug.

The Wraithlord seem to command the field. All the Orks firepower could not bring it down. With their Warlord dead, the Nobs decided it was time to make a tactical withdrawal.

Both sides took heavy losses but in the end the Eldar won that Day.

Epilogue:
Grimlock, Warlord Zardneg’s grot BannaWava, saw Zardneg body go limp and could not believe the great Zardneg had fallen. Glimlock observed that Zardneg was still alive, but barely. Grimlock summoned all his strength and dragged Zardneg body to Mad Dok Namrag. Namrag came to a decision that Zardneg body was beyond normal repair, the only way to save the Warlord was to give him a Bionic Body. Namrag worked thru the night on the fallen warrior, and in the morning Warlord Zardneg was ready to lead his War band again.

Two Days Later:
Zardneg awoke to find a Strange alien in his tent. Zardneg stayed calm knowing if this creature wanted to kill him it would have already. The Alien introduces himself as Rong from the planet of Peck and he was here to offer His Kroot warriors services to Zardneg. They came to terms and decided that their next fight would be against the Dark Eldar, who had recently arrive to Lrac.
