Scenarios
The Beasts of Endor written by David Brown
Premise:
The characters (or their commanders) hear rumors of a
secret Imperial base hidden somewhere underground on the forest
moon of Endor. The characters are sent to confirm this
information and report on/destroy the base if it indeed does
exist.
Challenges:
The Ewoks are the only possible source of information on
this rumor, and so the characters must work with them to discover
the truth. Unfortunately, the Ewoks have their own problems and
refuse to help the characters unless the characters deal with
their problem first. The Ewoks have been terrorized by a beast
that has never been seen, but has left huge tracks and
partially-eaten Ewok corpses.
The characters can easily follow the tracks,
which lead to an underwater cave complex. There, the characters
find a small nest of the large creatures (which posses the same
properties as Defels). It is blatantly obvious that these
creatures are not indigenous to Endor, and this could lead to
several follow-up adventures.
Once the characters have dealt with the
creatures, the Ewoks tell them about the Imperial base, which is
only a small outpost left after the Battle of Endor. With
reasonable difficulty, the characters kill/capture the Imperials
and destroy the base.
