Tharivol Siannodel Tharivol Siannodel was born to a noble Elven House. As are all Elves, he was trained in the art of combat using swords and bows. As a member of a noble House, he was taught the use of the prestigious Elven Thinblade and the longbow. However, warfare was not his strong suit. He took more readily to scholarly pursuits. The Dragon blood inherent in his family line gave him the powers of a Sorcerer and he supplemented this power with his studies and learned the arts of the Diviner. During his studies, he gained a familiar, an Owl named Softwing. Softwing became a good friend, though his snooty attitude often annoys Tharivol. Before taking his place in his House's court, he took it upon himself to learn the ways of the world outside his Elven home. He believed the best way to accomplish this would be to offer his services as a diplomat or ambassador, which his talents would easily allow. He knew, however, that it takes more than skill to obtain such a position. It would take experience, some measure of fame, and contacts. So, he would leave his home and do his best to obtain that experience, fame, and contacts. As he is still a young Elf, this was quite acceptable to his family, and they wished him well in his pursuits. Leaving his home, he travelled to a nearby human town called Kalidan. There, he took up residence in a modest home and prepared to learn all he could about these other races of people. His first priority was to find work, as obtaining the home had taken just about all of the funds he had brought with him, and if he was going to keep it, he would need a steady income. He was easily able to find work because of his training as a Scribe and his skills in Caligraphy. He soon found out that this was tedious work and that he would only barely make ends for the lifestyle he had chosen for himself. So, one day he went to a local tavern and listened to the conversations around him. He made the aquaintance of another Elf, Vall Moriden. He seemed a decent individual, even though he was raised by humans. Tharivol would keep a close eye on him, though, as he also seemed to be a rougish sort. From that day, Tharivol's routine changed, as he met and was introduced to more unique individuals seeking fame, fortune, and whatever else. He soon took on the role of spokesman for the always-changing group, and they proceeded to have many wonderful adventures together.
